Citalopram

is anyone taking citalopram I have used it on and off for years this time I’ve started back I feel so nauseous has anyone felt this before

I felt shocking for about 3 weeks until the side effects settled. Seemed to help if I took it at night so I slept through the worst of the nausea and dizziness.

I’m taking it at night too but the nausea seems to be here all day I don’t remember it being like this before I don’t know why I’m like this now… I did feel dizzy earlier too

It seemed to do weird things with my heart rythmn, so the doctor changed it to Mirtazapine, which was ineffective.

I have been prescribed citalopram but have been scared to take it. What you describe I had happen to me with the sertraline. I took it ok first time but when tried to take it several times felt awful . I thought maybe because my chemistry had changed or they were cheaper brand ?

Oh I don’t know what’s going on but I have felt so sick all week it’s actually putting me off taking them

I've taken it on and off for years, and consistently for what must be about 5 years now. I take 40mg per day. I may have been lucky as I've never had a single bad symptom from it.
