Hi Op, I am not a dentist, but I have had dry socket.
I had my tooth removed on the Thursday, by Friday evening I was in lots of pain. Saturday morning I found my dentist was closed until Monday so decided to battle through.
OMG the pain was unbearable. I tried ibuprofen, paracetamol, hot water bottle, cold pack. Nothing worked.
By Sunday evening I was crying.
The good news is, my dentist saw me as an emergency on Monday morning.
He flushed out my socket and repacked the hole. The relief was instant!
All I can suggest to you is to take OTC pain relief, go to bed and snuggle up warm.
First thing tomorrow, get in touch with your dentist, he/she should see you as an emergency and get you sorted.
