Ankles and wrists!

So I'm asking about my DH. About 2 years ago he had great pain randomly start in one foot/leg which meant he couldn't walk on it. After a few weeks it stopped on one foot, and started on the other foot. Then it went away after he saw a physiotherapist. I think the upshot was that it was sort of in his head, but I'm not sure about this, but it went away that afternoon. A year later he thought he injured his leg picking something heavy up, and has the same feeling again in his foot. Rested it for a few days, and then it went away. Now he's got the same feeling in his hand. I think it might be carpal tunnel, and he's going to see the doctor, but is there anyway these are all related? Like there's something wrong with his joints that we could look into, or maybe some vitamin or something that he might be deficient in? He has a very physical job and is a bit overweight, although he is very active. He goes through phases of eating well (keto) and not eating well at all, and says he will start eating a bit better in case this is related.

Another thing to note is that his blood pressure is very high. He never normally checks this so nothing to compare to, but could this be linked with any sort of wrist/joint pain? He is going to the doctor about this but I want to see if these things might be linked at all.

Thanks to anyone who reads this!

Random question! Does he have psoriasis at all? My husband has psoriatic arthritis. Pain in joints. But it shifts and comes and goes!

@Wolfiefan Had the exact same suggestion!

Psoriasis/arthritis is also linked with heart stuff which might explain the blood pressure.

Thank you so much for suggesting that @Wolfiefan! I've had a quick look into it and it does seem to match. He has very scaly/flaky skin on his back which seems to flare up from time to time, so this could be a match. Will do a bit more reading on this.

Interesting. DH has also spent about 25 years on blood pressure meds.
