Does this look like an allergy?

I’ve been getting flare ups quite a lot recently where my hands and ankles get very itchy. I get little lumps and the small ones on my fingers are a little bit tender.
o do have a history of dermatitis on my hands but it only usually appears when it’s very warm.
we have no pets and don’t really spend time around any so fleas are doubtful.
any thoughts?

Have you tried anti-histamines just to rule out any allergic reactions? Always worth doing just to eliminate that.

The finger lumps look like dishydrotic eczema to me (may have spelt that wrong!)

They are itchy and burny at the same time almost like when you get stung by nettles.

I have not, and I'm not sure why it didn't occur to me to just try that first. What a dummy! Thanks for the suggestion.

Yes, quite a lot like nettle stings. I do a lot of weights at the gym and obviously using a lot of the same equipment that someone else has just used so I wondered if it might be to do with that. But that doesn't explain the rest of it on my hands and ankles.
