How many moles do you have?

I'm covered unfortunately. Typical reddish hair, blue eyes, tan easily but also burn. Reason for asking is that apparently if you have over 15 moles your risk of breast cancer increases quite significantly which has scared me!

I only have one small mole, our skin consultant said he has never seen a body like mine without moles! Dh has lots all over and 6 years ago had a melanoma taken out. He has his whole body examined every 6 months.

I'm very glad your DH's melanoma was caught and removed.

Can I please ask where your DH has his moles checked? As I get older I've developed tons of moles, and I can't see the ones on my back. There's no one who can check them. I don't think it's likely the GP would have time to check them. I've Googled locally (NW) to try to find clinics that offer this but I've not found anything 🤞

Shiveringinthecountry he sees a consultant called Conal Perett in London, he’s one of the best. There’s no way we would trust any gp.
