Last week I rolled my ankle and fell over. A couple of days later the pain I had in one of my worsts was getting worse so I had an X-ray yesterday.
The pain is around the scaphoid bone, no break was seen but here was a cyst covering most of the bone. The nurse said sometimes fractures aren’t visible straightaway so I’ll be referred to the fracture clinic and they may want to also discuss the cyst.
I assumed the cyst was maybe a ganglion but apparently these aren’t visible on x-ray.
I’m now stressing slightly over this cyst. Anyone have any experience with this type of thing?
