Husband (early 60s) fell on our deck a couple of weeks before Christmas. I took him to minor injuries as he could barely move his arm. They xrayed his shoulder but said soft tissue injury. RICE etc
Wrist continued to be painful but physio and osteopath treating shoulder injury said it was likely referred pain from that.
a month or so ago he tore his calf muscle so had to use crutches which really posed a problem with his wrist, so he spoke to GP and got an X-ray.
GP called today to say X-ray shows a fracture and they are referring to orthopaedics.
pain is waking him up at night, but only slightly swollen. What do you think the likely treatment will be?

Possibly surgery my brother had an arm that didn't set properly they re broke it and set it with plates and a bone graph. His was delayed by COVID.
Obviously it depends on the break
