Immunosuppressants and a temperature.

I’m on an immunosuppressant mycophenolate mofetil and it says in the leaflet and I think they told me too that I need to contact my GP if I get a temperature.

I’ve been feeling ‘off’ since Saturday keep going freezing cold and then sweaty temperature has been between 38-39.3. I actually don’t feel too unwell in myself can’t pin it on anything just got a slight sore throat, headache and a bit of a wheeze and feel sick when my temperature spikes. Once I’ve had some paracetamol I feel better for a few hour’s then it spikes again.

It must only be some sort of virus I don’t feel I need to contact my GP. I’ve tested negative for covid, I had that in January and that was different it was more sheer exhaustion then.

You need to follow the instructions on your medication and the ones told to you by medical professionals.

You're immunosuppressed - you may not develop the normal signs of infection. Yes, you should talk to a real life doctor.
