Anyone found a good effective at home treatment? They are all quite pricey so I do want to ideally buy a good one first time around. Ball of my foot kills because of the little bastard. Tia x

Apparently duct tape works the best. Apply and leave it on for 5 days. Take it off, clean the area and pare off any skin that you can and repeat.

I should have added repeat until it goes away can take up to 2 months

I’ve tried everything. I have an appointment with a podiatrist next week.

Try neat tea tree oil on a cotton bud and rub it directly on the verucca a couple of times a day. Works on hand warts so hopefully should work on verrucas too.

Not a home treatment, but electrolysis shifted the stubborn arse of a verruca that I had for YEARS - in TWO affordable treatments. Was honestly amazing.

Duct tape!! Seriously.

Dd had one that was stubbornly refusing to go. We had tried all sorts of over the counter remedies and the fucker was stubborn. She had had it for a year. Rang the doctor and the doctor suggested duct tape. So we did.

She wore it 24/7, changing it once a day. After a week, the fucker actually peeled off roots and all.

Neat lemon oil sorted mine and my son's.
Took a little while but it worked.
