A thermometer that actually is accurate???

Can anyone recommend a thermometer that actually works.
We've had 4 now and they all consistently show different results. Right now apparently I have a temperature of 34.5 ..
We've tried all different types, but just want something that is accurate

Ask at the pharmacy for advice.
We use a rectal termometer. Works fine.

What kind are they? Are you sure you’re using them correctly and are there batteries fresh? We use Braun thermascan ear ones at work and they are pretty consistent.
