Hello

I have had this so many times but i always leave it then it gets so bad.
I have noticed it appeared under my nose like it always does. Before it gets bad - what do i need to get? I had a steroid cream before which in my opinion made it 100 times worse!

Please could someone give me some advice as I really don't want it getting bad like it did before - really got me down!

Thanks x

There's a perioral dermatitis support group on Facebook that's fantastic. I used a routine from there as well as a course of doxycycline, and it cleared it up.

@Liv2015 oh amazing! Please could you tell me the name of the group? And that's good to know I will try use that- do you have to get it from doctors? Xx

As you know it is peri-oral dermatitis you could order rosex cream (metronidazole) from an online pharmacy (I’ve used The independent pharmacy before and they’re good) if it’s hard to get a doctors appointment where you are as they will prescribe, you just have to upload a photo/description . Obviously that will cost but thought I’d mention it in case quicker/easier.

@ememlouba, its perioral dermatitis support, a lady on there called Carolyn Howarth started it up, I think. Search her name on there once you get accepted. Doxycycline I got from the doctors, a 3 month course. I had to push for it the doctors tried to push me down the steroid route. Good luck, it's so upsetting xx

@Magicmagician yes I tried doing that before but stopped as at the time when I last got it I was pregnant and they didn't advice I take it. So I honestly don't even know how it went in the end!
But it's back! I want to get rid before it gets really awful so I may do that - thank you xx

@Liv2015 lovely thanks so much!! Will join it xx
