Dd has got a verruca on the heel of her foot.It was fine but she's been bare footed in the garden and she seen to have grazed the top off. Went to get a plaster because it was bleeding and by the time I got back to her both hands and feet were covered in blood. Cleaned up the foot and put the plaster on and there has be very little blood in the plaster.
Do I need to worry or should I just leave it.

DS had two on his feet and I tried everything over the counter. In the end we used a homeopathic remedy and it was gone in three weeks. It was treated with tsuja tincture which you put on the veruca itself and also took an oral tablet daily. HTH

You don't need to worry as long as doesn't continue to bleed a lot, warts and verruccas often bleed like stink when get any trauma,if bleeds a lot again just put some pressure on and hold foot up til stop. If you've been treating it with anything then would be better to stop until the bit that was bleeding has healed up.

DettaJnr - where did you get the homeopathic stuff from - DS had a verucca that took almost 10 months to get rid of - what was the oral tablet called, was it homeopathic as well. TIA

I got it in Nelsons Pharmacy in Dublin. I think tsuja the correct spelling, in tincture form to drop on verucca and orally. Don't have any in cupboard as gave it to a friend. It wasn't cheap (about 30 euro) but as it costs 50 to see the GP and then pay for medication I felt it was 30 well spent.

The veruccas were extremely painful and deep rooted so I was delighted that it worked. I had to file the veruccas every night before I dropped the stuff on. According to DS it didn't sting or hurt either, which is always a bonus as over the counter stuff hurts like hell. HTH

Verrucas bleed lots, normal. You could also try taping a banana skin (fleshy side to the verruca) on overnight (for several nights). Need to pare the verruca down first, obv (which will make it bleed).
