Is this tonsillitis or tonsil stone? Warning photo

Assumed this was mild tonsillitis but not sure if it’s actually a tonsil stone after a google? Or something else?

Only looked in throat as throat was sore and feeling under the weather this morning. No fever but just feel weird, a bit sick earlier, ears sore. Nothing major. Only seems to be one white patch.

touched it with the end of a clean teaspoon, white pus comes away, and it doesn’t feel hard?

Oh dear I didn’t mean the photo to come up on the thread list like that - not sure how to make it sensitive in retrospect 🙈

It’s not a triggering photo in any way, I don’t think it needs a warning, it’s pretty clear from the title of the thread what people might be clicking on to see!

I thought the position looked more likely tonsil stones. Although it seems soft/wet not hard and no bad smell.

Looks like a stone to me but the white pus sounds more like infection so I'm on the fence sorry!

Gargle with saltwater or TCP maybe?

I had a stone in a similar position recently. Had felt like my ear was blocked for a couple of days before I spotted it and when I poked it out that feeling went away.

Stone. I used to poke mine out with a cotton wool bud.

@DaisyChain505 i use a blackhead remover tool (never used for blackheads 😂), it’s a brilliant implement, useful for the pointy end tidying up nail polish once dried and the end with the loop for scooping out tonsil stones!
