Why does my partner's semen smell fine but then fishy the day after sex when cleaning myself?

It changes your pH.
If it's lasts beyond a shower, maybe get sti tested.

Could be trichomoniasis. Get yourself and him tested. Or it could just be his sperm...better safe than sorry!

Totally normal IME. Just shower/wash after. I think semen left hanging around anywhere would probably start to smell after a while tbh.

It starts to decompose and it smells fishy. If you’ve ever had a condom left in the bin for a day or two you’ll know it’s foul! Nothing to do with your body (or his), that’s just what happens when sperm starts to rot.
