Hi
I am ttc my 2nd dc but my cycle is all over the place.
I recently had a 3 month absence and then unpredictable cycles of 23 days and 33 days.
Currently on cd 60 with no sign of af.

I am aware that a underactive thyroid can cause this but latest check shows tsh is normal now at 0.2.

I have been ttc for 8 months now.
Could the underactive thyroid still be causing my wacky cycle and hampering fertility even though tsh is now normal.
Any experiences please.

HI there,
Have you been tested for polycyctic ovarian syndrome (PCOS)? My cycles were very similar to what you describe above and after much insistence on my part I was tested for PCOS and was positive. I didn't get a period for 10 months. It is just a simple blood test and a scan to diagnose PCOS and it is eminently treatable (can recommend an excellent endo). I have an eight month old son now so don't worry, I am sure you will get there.
