What is this? Chilblain? Excema?

Anyone know what this might be? It started off smaller and didn't itch but now can be very itchy at times. I get chilblains on my toes sometimes so I'm wondering if this is one too ...

That first picture looks like it has tiny blisters under the skin, could possibly be pompholyx eczema which lasts a few weeks and is very itchy when the blisters are there, you get it on your hands and feet in patches like that

Though it could be a chilblain if it feels and looks similar to your foot ones

@BobnLen Thanks for replying. Yes , I have googled pompholyx eczema before and wondered if it could be. But the area on my thumb is slightly swollen , and also it stings when in hot water, which chilblains can do!
