Be aware re the pharmacist - Boots will only look at ear infections for 1-17 year olds! I know this as I needed my ear looking at! Was really annoyed as their adverts make it out that anyone can go - looked at their website and in their small print it states the age limits!
I ended up going to an ear specialist near me - Waxaxe and they said I didn’t have an infection.
I can only suggest ear drops and if gets worse then doctors.

Didn't know this, our pharmacist looked in my ears and said no infection but said was very red and sore and sold me some drops which seemed to work. Can't say what the drops were though.

Was it a Boots - I’ll be fuming if it is!

I think you can buy Earcalm spray over the counter. It’s good for the kind of middle ear infection you can get from swimming.

I was prescribed cefalexin today, but I'm not sure it will work. 1st lot of different antibiotics didn't work.
Fingers crossed?

No a independent chemist, who goes above and beyond.
