Asthma pump - hoarse voice

I’ve recently been diagnosed with asthma and have a brown preventer inhaler to take in the morning and evening. I’ve only been taking it for a week and it’s made a big difference to my breathing. However, I have noticed I’m a bit hoarse, and am needing to clear my throat more often. Is this a thing? Will it pass or should I mention it to the doctor?

Rinse or gargle your mouth out with water after using it will help prevent that.

Are you using a spacer device?
Rinse and gargle after every use of inhaler.

I get oral thrush if I don’t do both.
