Obvious possible TMI

I normally go every day. On day 5 got some strong laxities from gp. Early this morning woke up in agony, started vomited bits of dark blood, advised to go to a&e due to possible perforation or blockage where I had a high heart rate and temperature waited on specialists who said my intestine was slightly blocked but not fully so not much they could go and let me go with no follow up advice. I'm in so much pain. I don't really know what I'm asking expect has anyone been in similar situation? I have Ehlers Danlos syndrome if that's relevant but not had this problem before.

Did they not say what they are going to do about the blockage? even if it doesn't require surgery, they should've put you on nil by mouth and given you IV painkillers and electrolyte solution for the pain & vomiting. Conservative management can help resolve mild blockage but you can't just go back home without doing anything about it. Go back to A & E!

This definitely requires much further investigation. I'd take myself back to A&E as soon as you can. All the very best to you.

Agree with others, go back to hospital if someone can take you, your pain needs relieving, you're vomiting blood, I wouldn't eat or drink anything, did you have scans done, hope you feel better soon, don't be fobbed off, if you ring 111 they will tell you to go to hospital or call an ambulance.
