I've been to the hospital, and did a urine sample in January and it came back I had blood in my urine, I didn't no this until my doctor said to me when I went to him, but since then I've brought my own urine dip tests, I've I have blood in my urine dip stick everyday, no signs of infection, no pains no nothing, I'm absolutely petrified this is a more serious problem! Would my doctor want to investigate if it was? Or am I worrying over nothing? I wouldn't no nothing about it if he hadn't said anything so that makes me think it's nothing to worry about, but my anxiety is making this terrible for me

Blood in urine without any other signs of infection is absolutely a thing for the doctor to investigate

Try to get a GP appointment asap

Louu247 · 07/04/2024 12:04

Yeh you need to go back to gp xx

RollOnSpringDays · 07/04/2024 12:20

Definitely needs a follow up.

Sapphire387 · 07/04/2024 14:01

I think you need to stop obsessively testing your own urine, it's just ramping your anxiety up. Please go and see your doctor and ask them to test there, and follow their advice.

MissKittyFantastico84 · 07/04/2024 14:21

I understand how hard your health anxiety must be making this, but yes, you do need to get this checked out. Ignoring it sadly won't make it go away, and the best thing to do is get answers. I have experience of blood in urine tests, I know how upsetting it is, but take care of yourself and go back to the Dr. All the best.

Haggisfish3 · 07/04/2024 14:24

It does need investigating but is also u likely to be anything f awful. Both me and a relative had this, had full incestigstikns and no cause found.

ZuliKyanLarsFoz · 07/04/2024 14:37

I had this, microscopic haematuria. The GP did a few tests including a kidney scan. Nothing bad found, just thought to be a random finding. Its gone away again now. You absolutely need to go and get it checked out as it can be a sign of something else happening. However, like my experience, it can be absolutely nothing at all!

I'll make an appointment tomorrow and see what they say

Random question but do you have a coil fitted? That can frequently cause signs of blood in urine due to random spotting

MymateDave · 07/04/2024 19:36

I always have blood in my urine. No cause found. Just one of those things

pippapipps · 07/04/2024 23:16
