DD, 10 months old, has had a cold for about a week but has been okay until Thurs when I picked her up from nursery and she was boiling hot and sleepy. Friday and today she has slept really badly at night, been okay on waking, got a temp again at about midday, given ibuprofen an okay til 4.30 then awful temp again, more ibuprofen. Terrible nights sleep.
Her ears and cheeks are periodically red and hot. Saw doc on Fri who said one of her ears is very red inside and said we could have antibios (which I hate.) Could all this be down to teething? She's got 2 teeth already and was nowhere near as horrid as this.
Anyone experienced teething like this or am I going to have to go back to docs with tail between my legs for horrid antibios?
