Lump behind the ear

Hi, I have a lump behind my ear that I had an ultrasound on. My doctor said it’s nothing serious but if it gets better we would need
to do a biopsy. All this to say, the lump comes and goes. It doesn’t seem to be getting bigger but it will come out once in a while -
id say once a month for a few days. Just wondering if this has happened to anyone. Please as my mind is going to the worse case possible.

Is it a lymph node? Mine comes up when I’m ill, then goes down after a week or so.

I had this, it was nothing. I don't think it's significant if it comes and goes. It's just that when the c word is involved everyone wants to rightfully be extra careful
