Don't bother- they're a waste of time and money, aimed at fleecing money out of the worried well. I personally won't trust the result, and if it were abnormal would need repeating anyway.

If you genuinely are at risk of diabetes or have any symptoms, then you should see your GP for a proper fasting glucose level.

I thought it would be less hassle than going to the GP tbh.

It would potentially create a whole new workd of hassle for you. I personally hate these unregulated innaccurate home tests (can't you tell)- don't get me started on whole body scanning!

What makes you worried about having diabetes?

I read an article and seemed to have a few symptoms.

You defo need to see your GP. Don't be tempted to diagnose or treat yourself.

There may be other things causing your symptoms which may need to be tested for in addition. It is also important for the doctor to consider you personal and family illness history.

Besides, it'll save you a few quid that you can spend on something nicer.
