So long story short ive had these nodes at least a year- both armpits . Several referrals later and still there- always told reactive nodes . Anyway i also have a neck node and been feeling unwell so gp has organised 2 week wait ent referral and breast clinic refertal again to get another opinion.
been breast clinic today - ultrasound performed . Lady scanning confirmed 2cm nodes but that only 1.9mm thick ( they worry over 3 apparently ) and other benign signs.
doctor re confirmed he was unsure why they are 2cm could be because im slim and some people have chunkier nodes ?He said he waant worried as ultrasound was normal
i cant help but worry .. from looking online ( i know i shouldnt) it states long lasting nodes should be biopsied and 2cm is quite abnormal ??? Am i worrying uneccasary ? Nodes are both sides and i also have a neck node .All bloods fine . Cant help but worry about lymphoma due to feeling unwell but understand i may be being silly ?!
