Constipation and urinary frequency

I am just getting over a bout of constipation which thankfully cleared today but weirdly it’s making me pee a lot.

Has anyone ever experienced this.

Yep. I have IBS and when I get badly constipated I am always weeing. I always put it down to there being less room inside for your bladder to fill up. It's definitely not sinister as it's been happening me to me for donkeys years.

Even though I was able to clear the constipation earlier today I am still weeing a lot but maybe the bladder and bowel takes a bit of time to settle.

You might think you've cleared all the constipation, but you could still have some backed up in there. If you are still weeing frequently I'd carry on treating the constipation a bit longer.

Yeah I imagine even though I am not feeling the stool there will be still some backed up. It could also be anxiety as I have been very stressed about the constipation and I think weeing a lot can be a symptom of anxiety.
