Bruised toe

Hi, I stubbed my little toe last night and when I got up later it was bruised and slightly swollen. I have patched it up with cotton pad and plasters but it is quite painful when walking/standing. I haven't been out today so don't know what it will be like walking on hard surfaces. I enclose some pics of it and if anyone has any ideas or if I need medical assistance I would be very grateful. Thank you. Excuse the state of my nails!!!!

Broken for sure. I've broken many a toe and they always look like that 🤣 kill don't they?! You don't need medical attention. Strap it to the one next it if you want to. It'll be healed in 4-6 but should stop hurting within 2 weeks or so

Looks like mine when I broke it. Strap it to the toe next to it; that’s all the Drs will do so save yourself time.

Elevate it & try not to wear shoes that’ll squidge it.

Yeah I'd say it's broken too. Cut a lollipop stick to size and wedge it between the pinky and next toe and wrap with a bandage. Pain relief, ice and keep it elevated. Not sure where you are but in Ireland they only treat broken big toes or if there is exposed bone!
