What are these?!

I have loads of these little round spots on the backs of my thigh/bottom of my bum cheek. They're a smidge itchy but not much. They're dark in colour - the image has flash on so that lightens them, they're quite purple.

They've been there about a month and more are popping up. Worth a GP visit?

Might be molluscum contagiosum? My daughter had it, looked similar. Harmless but a btch to get rid of. Doctor insisted they would go away on their own but they just spread on her for a year, until I tried on OTC herbal oil treatment I found online.
