The hb level is slightly higher than the normal range, not low.

Worth going back to your GP for their opinion and more tests to determine the cause of your symptoms. Or more urgent care such as A+E if symptoms worsen. Hope you feel better soon!

Yes sorry that’s what i meant funny enough the first search i put in google seem to refer to low oxygen level in the blood and heart disease. Considering i was there for potential heart related concern. why was it not picked up?

It looks like you have looked up your own blood results on your work computer system & then photographed the screen. That is a major information governance no-no and can be a disciplinary offence in all trusts I've worked in. I use the same system in my organisation and it's really obvious that's what has happened here. Also nobody medically trained is going to interpret blood tests with no clinical history or knowledge of your personal medical history.

cestlavielife · 01/04/2024 20:51

It is highlighted.
But not hugely over normal range.

Go to your next appointment and ask them.

@RapidlyApproachingEndOfMyTether i think you are reading too much drama into things here or a bit wishful.
Dr didn’t manage to print out the result and had asked me to take screen shots of. I’m sure you will manage to blow this up too.
There is no medical history to be made aware hence i’ve not advised you this.

@cestlavielife there is no next appointment. i went in with concerns as per above and these were the tests he ran and said he can’t find anything wrong with me.
Was told to visit GP to see what else can be tested

Looks like a perfectly normal blood test to me. The ones outside a normal range are only marginally so.

If you're still concerned about your symptoms make another appointment to see the GP to discuss further investigations.
