Has anyone got gout?

Dr Google says I might have gout and I have a GP appointment this week.
I have RA and osteoarthritis so I'm used to joint pain but this is different.

First my middle finger. It came out of nowhere and was excrutiating, swollen and red and felt like needles, couldn't sleep for it Lasted two days then went. A couple of weeks later the same thing but in my wrist. Then my big toe. Now it's one knee. It's like it's taking turns with different joints.

I thought gout tended to attack one joint but this is a different joint every time?
I've made a few doctors appointments and then cancelled because the symptoms had gone and I avoid doctors unless deperate because I have so many health conditions.

I don't but my sister ,uncle and two of my partners freinds have it. It is horrible & painful & they can't even bear sheets on them during flares. They avoid any foods with a high purine content, from memory beer, seafood, kidney beans, certain meats, offal etc & my uncle rarely has attacks now. There are tablets to control it and for acute flares. Colchicine and allopurinol. One takes Naproxen too. My sister eats cherries which are supposedly good for gout. I think it can attack anywhere but often the toes & knees. They are all overweight & were advised to slim down. Unfortunately it's another autoimmune condition 😞.

Ah, auto immune. Why have one when you can have several. I have asthma and eczema as well.
I'm not overweight and I don't eat a lot of those things.
I'm hoping GP can rule it in or out.

Yes! They gatecrash the AI party. Sorry to hear that you have asthma and eczema too. Ditto my partner & they can be very debilitating. Hopefully you'll be ok, good luck at the GP.

Migratory arthritis?

Never heard of this.
I had thought of palindromic rheumatism because I was diagnosed with that before RA. This feels different though.
