When to go and get my knee checked?

I fell on Wednesday and banged myself up pretty badly. The first couple of days I had trouble straightening my knee out and walking, but I blamed it on the outside injuries (pretty nasty graze).

It's 5 days on now and the pain on the outside of my knee (left) is pretty bad if I turn my leg a certain way. Same with the pain on my kneecap and below my knee. If I press on the top of the outside of my knee it's really painful. It's visibly pretty bruised, both where I fell on my leg and where the pain is on the outside of my knee. There's some visible swelling on the outside of my knee.

I can walk but it's uncomfortable. When do I go and get checked? My nearest UTC is 15 miles away and I don't think this is an A&E job, but I'm also wary of it being possibly injured

Call 111 and they will get you an appointment at the most suitable place.

I might in the morning, the problem is my parents think I'm being dramatic and wouldn't help me get there, and driving is really painful

111 online has said to go to a&e, but it'll be an absolute nightmare at this time of night on a bank holiday Sunday. I'll see how I am in the morning and re assess
