Laser Eye Surgery outside of London?

Hello!

I am considering laser eye surgery this year. Something I have wanted to do for years but not been able to justify the cost of it. Now I am in a position to afford it... but the options are a bit overwhelming!

I have seen Moorfields Private recommend a lot, so I am definitely considering there. But I am wondering if there are any other good options outside of London?

I live close to one of the Grange Eye Consultant hospitals, so was also wondering if anyone had any experience with them?

Avoid Optical Express. I had mine done there and I don’t think somewhere ‘proper’ like Moorfields would have considered me to be a suitable candidate

Oh no, did you have a bad experience?

I was planning to avoid any of the "companies" (for want of a better description) and opt for a hospital setting, and do some research into the practitioner. I know that doesn't magically rule out the chances of any complications or adverse events, but I would feel safer in a medical setting.

Having said that my SIL had the treatment years ago by one of these companies and has been entirely happy, and I appreciate lots of people have good experiences.
