Rib pain

Does anyone have any idea what this could be -

I have reoccurring pain on the back left lower part of my ribs, it feels just like a bruise.. I can't really feel the pain until I push on it, it does have a bluish hue but I was born with a Mongolian bruise in that place according to my parents but everywhere I've looked it's said those don’t cause pain.

I went to my gp and they said they might try a X-ray cause they didn't know but that never happened!

I can't seem to find anything on google that really fits the bill.

I would say it happens every few months maybe for a few days at a time!

Just would love to hear peoples opinions

I have tietze syndrome which is inflammation of the ribs (similar to costocondritis) and it’s usually in the front of the chest but I get mine at the bottom 3 ribs and sometimes at the back. Could it be that? It’s a recurring condition- mines is aggravated by poor posture and if i’m tired and rundown. A chiropractor sorted it out last time because it got really bad- she tapped my ribs back into place.

Hm I suppose it's possible - I would say mine is bottom 3 on the back towards the middle of the left ribs (not near my sternum) I'm not sure what usually triggers it but I have helped my sister move house this week, & I am feeling a little run down so I suppose it could be triggered by that! It feels just like a nasty bruise it's really strange

It’s awful pain I know, I have had this on occasions, I am a MS patient though, MS hug, certainly doesn’t feel like a hug, it’s very unpleasant. But of course Rib pain can occur with other conditions. This is just my experience of rib pain.
