Heavy threadworms infestation

Hi there
I have had awful diarohea and pain for a few days.
Yesterday I discovered MANY threadworms in my poo. Today took ovex. Feel really shit tbh bubbling stomach diarrhoea.
Can threadworms cause this?

Yes if you have many threadworms and have taken something to kill them you can expect them to be expelled in a somewhat violent manner shortly
