Post vomiting bug

I had a bug in late January with half a day of being very sick. It was like a week of sickness in 6 hours and could not keep water down.

Anyway since then if I am really honest I have felt like complete rubbish.

I had a blood test and my liver ALT was slightly raised which they said was normal after a bug. Another test last week (for something other routine monitoring) and I asked and it wss normal again.

Any tips on how I can give my gut and immunity a boost?

You could take a probiotic.

I'm also hearing a lot about magnesium flakes - adding a small amount to your water daily and replenishing the minerals you lost with your bout of severe sickness.

What's your diet like? Do you drink enough water?

You need probiotics but don’t bother with the little yoghurty drinks - they’re not strong enough. Optibac or Symprove are really good brands and will sort you out.

I have Optibac! I bought them a while ago after another bout of feeling rubbish and never took them. I think I started exercising and forgot about it (something I also need to restart as will help). I've just taken one, thanks.
