(Picture) Swelling on side of foot? Bruised or bunion?

Apologies for the awful picture but I have developed a swelling by the side of my foot. It sticks out at the side it almost looks like a bunion to me but it feels swollen and looks bruised? I haven't hit my foot and I have been wearing the same shoes. Now the skin has cracked too.

My partner said it could be an infection? Can anyone help?

Gout maybe?

Hmm could be. I have no risk factors Im not overweight, eat no red meat I dont drink alcohol and Im a female in my 20s. But it does look like that.

I’d call 111 and get that looked at… if it is gout you’ll be in agony by Tuesday.
you can still get gout even if you don’t tick the boxes you listed and the longer you leave it the worse it will get and it will take longer for the drugs to work.

Possible cellulitis?
