What bug could this be?

I woke up in the night with diarrhoea, nausea, leg aches and chills. Any idea what bug this could be? We are meant to be going away tomorrow, I'm really hoping it is short lived.

Norovirus? Anyone else got it

Yes, my DD has it as well, she's been sick the day before. I thought maybe not norovirus as I have not been physically sick.

You can get sick/feel sick with Flu: also lots of gastro viruses around. Could be that too.

I've had noro several times without the vomiting

Does it matter which bug it is?

Ah okay, thank you. Not entirely was just hoping it's a bug that's relatively short lived 🤞

You can't say you definitely have Noro without a stool sample so nobody really knows they have it unless they get a test.

I have everything crossed it is short lived and you are all ok tomorrow.

Gastro bugs can be very contagious

My last covid bout had gastro symptoms as well as the cold/cough/fever/chills stuff.

I've had horrid gastro symptoms mixed in with fluey symptoms for a good 3 or 4 weeks now. The dodgy stomach went away for a few days but came back with a vengeance yesterday, and today has been really uncomfortable. Not D&V, mercifully, but lots of wind, rumbling, tummy ache and feeling like I want to go a lot. Am guessing it's viral, but I feel rubbish and wish it would just get lost! Taking a decent probiotic and watching what I eat, but I guess it will go when it's done with me and I have to put up with it until whenever that might be 😖
