Socroiliac joint aching

I have had on off ache/pain for about 2 years but after googling I think it's my socoiliac joint that's the issue.

What do you do to ease the ache? Funnily I was intermittent fasting a while back and it seemed to disappear, maybe just coincidence

You can have an injection to control the pain. Using a backpack when you are out and about rather than a crossbody bag helps too.

My physio told me that it's vital to avoid raising your arms above your head, that will set it off for me. So never have your elbows higher than level with your shoulders.

I've had an unstable SI for over 30yrs. Had every treatment, injection, physio going. Nothing works. Not even every medication they throw at you.

I suffer with this too, I have very tight hips, so do Pilates 3 times a week (at home) to help relax them, also Pilates to build up core strength and also glutes etc. It’s nearly as bad as it was, and I only do about 15-20 of Pilates each time

Watch the Dontingy technique on YouTube. It’s quite a simple exercise and it used to reset my si joint when I had issues.
