H pylori - can it return?

After a couple of months of stomach issues - bloating, wind, no appetite, pain at top of stomach - I went to GP and tested positive for H pylori in October.
I had 2 x type of antiviotics but symptoms continued so then had another 2 x type of antibiotics. Finished those mid December.

Symptoms went away.

About a month ago I got a bit of bloating. This has increase over the last month where I am bloating up every evening (anyone need a beach ball!), gurgling stomach, wind. Today I have bloated up at lunchtime for first time - before I had eaten. Also noticing bit of discomfort at top of stomach.

Unlike last year it isn't affecting my appetite.

The symptoms feel very similar to last time, although not as bad but they are increasing. I guess that's what happened last time, started in August and gradually increased until I finally went to doctor in October

Is it possible that H pylori can return after having two lots of treatment and it appearing to have gone?

Has anyone else experienced this?

I know I need to make another GP appt but will mp doubt have to wait forever
Trying to decide whether to make a private appointment, although needing lots of test might prohibit this

We’re other household members treated?
Yes it can come back.

However, H pylori can be recrudesced within a few months after therapy. Ishizuka et al25 found that H pylori could reappear within 3 months after eradication therapy

Yes.
I had it twice, though tbf, I'm guessing the first infection hadn't properly cleared. I had the triple antibiotic course in the April, then at the end of August my symptoms returned and I had a course again. The GP told me that if it didn't clear up that time, he wouldn't be prescribing any more courses of antibiotics and I'd just have to live with it, which made me a bit disgruntled. But luckily the second lot of 3 types cleared it.

GP told my mother it cannot come back. Stupid man. It can and it does. Hope you get sorted.

I seriously hope they don't say I'll just have to live with it!

I have got a GP appointment but it's not for almost a month, FFS

The loss of appetite has developed this last couple of days, so it has followed the same path as last time. So I'm certain it is H pylori come back.

Currently sat on the sofa with a stomach like a beach ball even though I've not eaten much

I'm going to Spain on 6th April for a few days of sight seeing and lovely food 😢
