Whooping cough

Hi my son has whooping cough and has had 2 lots of antibiotics in the last 2 weeks he is coughing green mucus up of his chest and vomiting (can’t keep anything down with the whooping cough) he had a temp on Friday evening 38.6 over night not had one since. Is it normal to cough green mucus up with whooping cough thanks

DS and DH had whooping cough many years ago and I remember constantly having to shampoo the carpets. Wish him better.

Is your child vaccinated? Why did the effect disappear? ''Before the vaccine was developed, whooping cough was considered a childhood disease. Why didn't the antibiotics work: 1. antibiotics resistance or 2. maybe not whooping cough? Didn't they test after the first course of antibiotics didn't work, before the 2nd course?
