A couple of months ago, I had a strange tight feeling on one of the knuckles on the back of my left hand. It was as though I could feel the skin pulling when I flexed my hand. It was a weird sensation. This happened on and off for maybe a week or two and then I found that the area around that knuckle had become completely numb. I can press my fingernail into it and feel nothing.
I’ve made a GP appointment but it’s not for three more weeks. Has anyone had anything like this?
I do get very dry skin on my hands sometimes and wondered if this could be related but can’t see how that would cause this numbness.
