Right, ds is toddler and his cousin stayed over for few days. Now found out cousin has got nits. What can i use to stop mine getting them?

Positive ds will get them, as they have being as thick as thieves and shared a bed. Doh!

Any advise really welcome, as not had them before and want to act now before infested. (i'm scratching as i write this!).

What are the best products to use? Any organic ones - as my six month old is hairy -so concerned they will appear on that head too. Brilliant...

comb through with nit comb after washing and applying lots of conditioner - you'll detect any nits (egg cases) or live beasts if you clean comb with a tissue between each combing, start from roots...then in future use something like Nitty Gritty as a preventative (rubbed through hair)

you need to make sure they have got lice first.....as a repellan use natural tea tree oil.....if you find lice use hedrin...it is not chemical based and doesnt stench....wash your bedding and towels etc....or go the natural way and use lots of conditioner on the hair to comb them out
