Hi all,

I've been having quite a clotty like period which is unlike me. Quite painful which is also not normal. There's been lots of little clots although I passed a 10p clot earlier today.
However, I just went to the toliet and there's this clot like thing in my pad. It's like fleshy? I'm stumped as to what it is. I did a pregnancy test before my period and it was negative.

I'm still in pain but it's not too bad.

It looks like a decidual cast, love. Don’t worry. It happens occasionally

Einszwei · 18/03/2024 20:36

Doesn't look big enough to be a deciduous cast - just normal uterine tissue.

It could be a partial cast or a large clot. Google has some good images that you can compare to.
I have endometriosis and adeomysosis & have passed all sorts of things, and had two miscarriages.

if the cramping is easing now, hopefully the period will be a bit lighter.

the cramps are usually worse when the clots are bigger

Thanks all. I'm just passing small clots now, unfortunately the cramps aren't any better (yet).
