why do period cycles change?

Always had regular 28 day cycles, until last week, suddenly started a week early, with a very heavy painful period but only lasted 2 days, normally bleed for about a 5 days!

Anyone had a similar experience! x

I like you had a regular 28 day cycle, until about 3 years ago when I started to get heavy clotty bleeds. After about a year I fnally went to see my GP who referred me for a scan. The scan was clear and my GP put it down to hormones. I now get the odd heavy bleed but not always. It might be best to get it checked out just for peace of mind!
