Has anyone had a bronchoscopy

I'm having a bronchoscopy in the morning and although they say I will be sedated I'm absolutely terrified.
Can anyone give me any advice please.

Usually a sedative will just make you sleepy or "relaxed" but you'll still mostly be aware of what's going on. I've not had one but my cousin did last year and I know she found it uncomfortable but over relatively quickly. Good luck for tomorrow
