Strange periods

Hi, for a year now I've started bleeding dead on a week before I'm due, but it's brown blood can vary each day with quantity, then I bleed my normal period when due very heavy for 2 days then dies off last 6 days. I'm 37 and been checked for perimenopause amongst other things and all normal, it's this all perfectly normal and is anyone experiencing the same?

Is your smear up to date? When I had brown blood, mind was mid cycle though that was my symptom of abnormal cells.

@sarahc336 yes had a smear and ultra sounds last year and booked in again next month for the same.

I have doc's booked for beginning of July (earliest appointment - crazy!) I am also 37, so kind of assuming/hoping it may be the start of perimenopause and nothing more serious!

What was outcome. I’ve had two periods this month

@Hi7 I'm now on a waiting list for endometriosis surgery as they feel this is what I have, so just a waiting game now.

@OchreTraybake what was your outcome? They think I have endometriosis! X
