Yes, I will consult my dr but can't see her until next week and I'm curious. TSH is 9.4. I'm 50. Thanks!

A bit high but have seen much higher.

NHS guidelines are to start treatment with TSH > 10. Most other European countries will treat at lower levels than this.

Mine was treated at lower than that but I have a good GP. Have you got previous readings?

My GP wanted a clear progression, which there was and I feel much better on a fairly low dose of levothyroxine.
