Garmin watch

Hi all

I want to get myself a proper watch that lasts. All my old analogue ones are broken and no use.

I want something that helps me set fitness goals and will keep me active. Walking hiking and possibly 5k running. I won't be doing marathons due to joint issues.

I also do a lot of map guided walking with my kids so having a GPS watch would be super helpful.

Any advice as Garmin is a minefield?

Up to £400 budget.

DC Rainmaker on YouTube.

I got the 55, I now see why they're bigger as this is too small.

I'm thinking I might get a 255 or 265 but I don't really wear a watch, so it's a bit too much of an indulgence.
