Perioral dermatitis!

Hi,

I just wanted to see if someone has had a similar experience. My husband and I are trying to conceive our first baby and I have started eating a lot healthier lately. I always ate relatively healthy but even more so now. Cut out all alcohol, processed food, sugar. And overall my digestion feels a lot better. It's been a few months already.

However exactly when I started making these changes, I also started getting a horrible case of perioral dermatitis. I always had redness around my nostrils but now it's on my chin and few spots have appeared under my eyes too.

Has anyone had this once they started eating healthier? Doesn't make much sense. If anything I would have expected it the other way around. I haven't added anything in my skincare routine or added anything into my diet. Just cut out bad stuff.

Any help, advice or encouraging stories would be greatly appreciated Blush

My daughter had this. We tried everything until someone recommended this product. It really helped and went away within a week or so.

Are you stressing about TTC? I find my dermatitis to be generally dormant and well under control, yet it flares up (to a variable degree) every time I am stressing and generally worried about things, always the same spot - right side lip corner/chin.

I probably am to an extent which could explain the flare up... I think the more cycles go by, the more I stress for sure so will double up on my meditation Grin
