Bleeding after sex

Ok so I have been bleeding g after sex for over a year. I went to GP, she suggested removing the coil and I had a clear smear in May 2023. Gp examined me said all looked ok. Got coil removed in September and it's still happening a month ago I asked DH to have a look after we had sex and he said there was a cut at the enterance. There isn't loads of blood just a bit and tonight I got him to look again after sex (sorry tmi) and he wiped the exact spot where the cut is and it's where the blood is coming from. It isn't sore at all just looks very red he took a pic so I could see I think it looks more like a sore? Any ideas how I can clear this up the GP didn't notice it so it must just get irritated after sex.

Definitely go back to doctors, see another doc/ask for second opinion. Take the picture with you. It could be something or nothing but make sure the doctors check properly

Did Dr mention cervical ectropion to you? It is an extremely common cause of bleeding after sex.

Just to add, I had this for a long time. I had scans and tests. It wasn’t until I was examined by a female GP that I was immediately and correctly diagnosed with the above. Which boggles the mind considering how common it is 🙄

It's at the opening of the vulva not further up she didn't see it when she examined me this was in august but it still bleeds after sex no other time

Got in with my dr this Morning. She examined me and said the neck of my cervix looks a bit red and that there is a cut (she said a hack) on the opening of my vagina. She's referring me to gynae and gave me a cream. I asked her if it looks sinister and she said no because it's been there at least a year (since I experience the first bleeding) it would have got bigger and smelly. Ugh here's hoping all is ok
