So I have a family history of breast cancer and I inspect my breasts every month just to be safe. Last Friday I felt a painful area ?lump but didn’t know if it was just fatty tissue. I had pressed down a bit and it bruised slightly.

On Saturday, I felt the same area again although this time the tissue felt almost jelly like and squishy (felt like mush) and when squeezed it felt like something come out.

This is what it looks like now. I am trying not to overthink but could anyone shine some guidance? I just don’t understand how it can bruise so quickly and easily, could it be a haematoma or burst blood vessels? It’s quite tender on touch now

Op, no one should diagnose you over the internet. Please make an appointment to see a professional. I wish the best.

I don’t want to waste a GPs time if it turns out it’s just from me pushing and prodding
